Project Description

Private commission from a socialite client based in Hong Kong.

These contemporary one of a kind jewelry sculpture’s can be worn as a hoodie, body sculpture or simply kept as an art piece.

It was inspired by both convex and concave theories as demonstrated by MC Escher and Anish Kapoor.

This art piece is made out of lasered perspex mirror sheeting, metal spikes and sewn together with solar yarn which changes colour when in contact with the sunlight.

We wanted to prepare the viewer for distortion in their perception about the indiscernible limits and differences between established, procedural, formal, abstract or conceptual in contemporary art.

“Art is not a mirror held up to reality, but a hammer with which to shape it.” Bertolt Brecht
